Our 28,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility is based right in the heart of the country, in North Staffordshire. We have four international airports within an hour’s drive, and are at the heart of an extensive road and rail network, making us easily accessible to our valued clients and for visiting them if needed, too.

The past four decades have seen us grow to a team of over 60 specialised and highly-skilled engineers who deliver the highest quality components to our client’s exacting standards, often to extremely tight deadlines. Our growth has been driven by continuous investment in the latest technology and manufacturing techniques, the development of a highly skilled work force and guaranteed high quality standards. Since 1981, SPE Precision Components have produced high precision components for varied and demanding specialised industries, including R&D. How we do it is all based on the very highest of quality and standards.

Our leadership team

Brothers Gary Smith and Phil Smith are Managing Directors of the company and have a real passion of Engineering and Manufacturing. With a combined experience of over 50 years in managing and developing the company, they have a wealth of expertise, experience and a track record of success built on forging strong client relationships, and through developing and nurturing a highly-skilled and motivated team.

During their time leading the company, SPE Precision Components have grown into a progressive, flexible company with an outstanding track record. Growth has been continuous and driven by the brothers’ investment into areas such as the development of the SPE team and state of the art manufacturing techniques.

Not only is this growth important for SPE Precision Components, the company has expanded its offering within the large blue-chip manufacturing industry. And with significant investment plans in place for new staff and new equipment, this upwards trajectory looks set to continue.
