NEW LOOK
for Staffordshire engineering company

An established engineering firm is to mark their 25th birthday year by investing in a complete re-brand.

Staffordshire Precision Engineering are to spend the cash – much of which has come from Advantage West Midlands, via their Accelerate initiative – on a new logo, website, stationery and signage.

They hope it will reflect the changes made since they were established in November 1981, and help them compete when tendering for new contracts.

Joint MD Phil Smith said: “Things have changed a lot since 1981, when we were established as a jobbing shop for local manufacturing companies.

“There’s nothing wrong with that, and we are very proud of our roots. Our current customers and suppliers have made us what we are today, and we will retain the same level of commitment to them as we have for the past 25 years.

“However, we felt the re-brand would help update our image, and improve the perception of our company when we are competing for bigger contracts. We have invested heavily over the last 5 years in new equipment, training and manufacturing techniques and our order book currently reflects that this investment is paying off. By re-branding and updating the companies promotional literature we now have the tools to help us sell the benefits we can offer to customers effectively.”

Staffordshire Precision, based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, produce a range of precision components for the automotive industry, scientific and medical instruments, and casino outfitters.

They currently deal with a number of companies in the UK, Europe and USA.
